The journey begins with a treasured discovery
My artistic journey began in a dimly lit, musty upstairs room. As my eyes adjusted, I discovered an ancient, well-cared-for roll-top desk. Inside, hidden away, was a drawing – lovingly contoured, expertly shaded with blacks and grays. This moment, witnessing a true piece of art for the first time, ignited a passion within me. Like a powerful virus, this "thing called art" began to spread through my soul, shaping the course of my life.

I am Dennis Stott, an oil painter based in Spanish Fork, Utah. My work is a direct reflection of my lifelong fascination with art, fueled by that transformative childhood experience. Every painting is an exploration of color, form, and emotion, aiming to create a captivating visual narrative for those who view it.
